EBS the Monkey Pox medication stock (Update) Received FDA Approval tonight

I was going to post about Emergent BioSolutions a couple of weeks ago when it was at 6 dollars a share but if you aren't in this one you probably should be as the FDA will be announcing approval to expand its vaccine's use to include Mpox protection. I just didn't realize it was going to pop off before the Democratic Convention the way it is right now.

There are three other Monkey Pox stocks: TNXP (Tonix Pharama Holdings) and GeoVax.
GeoVax is at 10.46
Tonix is at .44 cents
Bavarian Nordic40.22
These four stocks are all the most likely to get emergency FDA approval for Mpox within the next two weeks.

Good idea to exercise some caution though as these tend to be very momentum-driven. The share price popped quickly in the summer of 2022 when all the monkeypox stuff first started happening, then crashed when people figured out it was only spreading in certain populations due to some easily preventable behavior...
I say this as someone who currently owns EBS and has for years, and just sold my remaining Bavarian Nordic last week.
The companies are real - the smallpox vaccines alone generate a good amount of secure revenue, plus they have other drugs. The hype may be short-lived.

The FDA Announced tonight that EBS has received FDA approval for MonkeyPox. This should significantly lower the debt the company has on the books over the next several months.

And with that FDA approval news, it's down 6%
