How do y'all protect the electrical outlets from getting wet? I am thinking about taping ziplock bags over them. Any better ideas? Thanks.

Your patio should all be gfci. If they get wet once they dry out you are good to go. However wouldn’t hurt anything to turn the breakers off while washing

I thought this last time. Never worked again. I had to replace them.

are they not GFCI with an outdoor plate cover of some design already ? I've never had any issue. if they get too wet, it may trip, but just reset it.
I guess if you don't have them covered with a plate, then anything to waterproof them should work if you plan on spraying water into them.
I never heard of this being an issue honestly.

The plate covers are water tight for the most part.

As mentioned, get the plate covers. We bought the big clear cases that cover the outlets 24/7/365 and our plugs stay in them without having to be removed.

Simply slap a piece of good quality duct tape over them and proceed. You obviously don’t want spray them directly with the pressure washer.
If you’re still uncomfortable you can always flip the breaker off.
