Let me be the first to say that is an awesome resource. I didn’t know wiki had a page like that for each year of movies. I’m also extremely excited I can vote for 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and a 2 Days (not decided yet).

Also, can we considering extending the Roscoe nomination deadline to give people a chance to see the Oscar contenders? A lot of films haven’t gotten a wide release yet, or just came out at Christmas. I still haven’t seen Revolutionary Road, the Wrestler, Gran Torino, or Waltz With Bashir. All of which will likely be contenders for my ballot.

Those are last year's winners...it doesn't.

God, there were some awful movies for the worst movie winner.

The Happening, Love Guru, Zohan, The Hottie and the Nottie....wow.

As far as best film goes, TDK will get a lot of fanfare, but movies like Man On Wire, Slumdog Millionaire (yet to see), even Iron Man could make runs at it.

My favorite film of the year was Benjamin Button. I think it's a movie that will get better with time, and I really walked away with a new respect and awe of Brad Pitt as an actor.

there were some pretty good flicks in 2007, other than iron man and the dark knight, i can't think of many for 2008.

Man On Wire
Doubt

Benjamin Button
Slumdog Millionaire
Benjamin Button
Wall-E
The Wrestler

2008 has some good ones. More shitty ones, but there are some quality movies.

lol u better not let my friend hear that you didn't like WALL-e, he thinks it needs to win best picture at the oscars.

i haven't seen it, i can't speak one way or another, but IMHO it probably shouldn't win best picture, im not too sure it should even be nominated, but for you movie buffs, maybe y'all can tell me if im right or wrong
