Chavis has a much better resume than almost ANY NCAA defense coordinator in the country.

He is an excellent hire. I would seriously question anyone who couldn't at least understand and appreciate the hire, even if there personal choice didn't get the job.

This isn't just a "safe" hire, this is a great hire with about as little risk as you can have in a situation like this.
