Everyone keeps saying Tenn had the #4 defense last year and #7 defense in 2005. The problem is that the '05 and '08 teams only won 5 games each. That was my point.

I never said that, however he had the #70 defense last year with Cutcliff running the O and Eric Ainge throwing for 3,522 passing yards and 31 touchdowns with 10 interceptions and Arian Foster rushing for 1193 yards.

I do place a little blame for letting Cal score 45, Florida to score 59, Bama scoring 41, Arkansas State scoring 27 and Kentuky scoring 50 (granted that was overtime) last year.

It's an awful point. Did we hire Fulmer, and Tennessee's OC as well?

they broke in a shite load of new players last year.


Can you not see the improvement from 70th in the nation to #4 this year?
