This year and it looks like we should have.

Just finished the year with 42 tackles, 4 INT (1 returned for a TD) and 19 passes defended. He started 11 games at CB and played the other 5 at nickel.

Not saying Ellis is a bad pickup, just for this year DRC (and in the future) would of been a great pickup.

T. Porter was playing really well before he got hurt. he is our future at corner!

Not overly excited about Porter. I think DRC was not only better this year but will be elite in the future.

stop saying "should of", it's "should have" the ve in should've is from have. not of. wow.

ellis had a solid year and would HAVE had better stats had he not missed time due to injury.

ellis was also the safer pick because he played at a big time school whereas DRC was a huge question mark; even his performance at the senior bowl practices and game were not enough to make him an obvious top ten pick like ellis.

DRC+Porter could have been the best cornerback tandem in the NFL for a long time

We wouldve never drafted back to back corners.

If a worm had a shotgun, a bird would never mess with him. Stop the what ifs conversations..Ellis is what we needed.

Agree but Ellis didn't produce the way we expected him to.

tracy porter was good, and would have been very good if he wasn't injured.

Just updated that he did have 2 passes defended today to make that 19 passes defended on the year. That's pretty elite level numbers, ESPECIALLY for a rookie who only started 11 games.

T. Porters stats were good for his 1st 5 games

25 tkls(23 solo) 1 sack, 5 Pdef, 1 int

if he could have stayed healthy he would have had a really good season.
