Washed gravel and fixing ruts

About to get an estimate on fixing a small section of road at my camp. It’s basically just a circle drive at the entrance that’s around 150 ft. About half of that are ruts that need to be fixed and some sort of rock added. I have zero idea of what cost should be, so what’s the boards opinion on reasonable estimate?

Greatly depends on how far the guy has to haul the gravel and his equipment to fix your stuff.
And his demand for other work.
So where you are, is probably relevant.

I don’t know about cost, but I’d suggest something like crushed limestone that will pack instead of staying loose.

Helps to know the location. But agree, limestone might be the better fit.

Location Kosciusko MS. There’s a gravel place that specializes in this sort of thing 5 miles from the property

That would be a start. They could get you in touch with a trucker.

I saw a cool video the other night on YouTube where this guy made his own geocell grid out of some old corrugated pipe into 4” sections. He laid them all in his rut, then poured the stones into and around them.
