Angus beef question

My local grocery store sells brisket labeled as “angus beef”
Is that the same as “certified angus beef”?
I’ve bought CAB before and really like it. Seems like it’s a notch above choice. I’m just not sure if it’s the same since it doesn’t say “certified”

Angus and CAB are not the same. CAB beef must meet specific quality standards to receive certification. Beef labeled Angus is from that breed of cattle and has not met or been evaluated by CAB standards.
