Live in Texas near Galveston and have 7 days of vacation coming up soon. Any ideas that are family friendly with an eleven month old boy? Also have an eleven year old daughter. Trying to find something that’s not too stressful. Thanks in advance.

You’re close to Galveston. Hop on a cruise ship?

Get out of this oven, find some elevation.

Sedona, Colorado, Utah, Montana. PNW, Alaska.

National Parks are awesome.

How about some type of ranch or resort area in the hill country?

The resorts in the hill country are great. The JW Marriott Hill Country is very nice but $$. Lots of stuff for kids and a lazy river. Milfs everywhere

Next to it is Natural Bridge Caverns and you’re 15 minutes from Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta. Hot as balls but the kid should be free or cheap.

A trip I like is drive or you could fly in to El Paso cheap, drive up to Riodoso in the mountains and do a day at the white Sand Dunes national park. Kids love it

Also have Carlsbad an hour away. Still hot but you’re at elevation and much drier.
