Got a Wii for Christmas...

Complete surprise. So a Best Buy run tomorrow morning is necessary.
Planning on purchasing:
Mario Kart Wii
Extra Wii Wheel
Classic Controller
and
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
or
Super Mario Galaxy
First, would all this keep me busy for awhile?
Second, Zelda or Mario? I'm most likely going to download Ocarina of Time and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars so I'll have some Mario or Zelda anyway, but which one of these is a better and more fun game? Or any other game I should consider?

Mario Kart is ridiculous. That game is so addicting

My son has The Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy, and although they are both great games, I personally prefer Zelda. SMG is a little more hyper-speed while Zelda has a more laid-back pace, so I guess it's all what your preference is. I can sit down and play Zelda for long stretches, where I get tired of SMG after about 10-15 minutes.
You definitely can't go wrong with the Ocarina of Time and Super Mario RPG. Also, if you want an awesome Mario game Super Mario 64 is available on the Virtual Console. It's probably my favorite Mario game (other than the original Super Mario Bros.)

I ran through Super Mario Galaxy in three days or so. Twilight Princess lasted for several weeks.
They're both fun games, though. I'd consider getting both eventually. If you're just looking at Nintendo-published titles, don't rule out Metroid Prime 3, too, unless you just don't like first-person adventure games or Metroid games.

I also got a Wii for Christmas and Mario Cart. I prefer driving with out the steering wheel. You may want to try it with the wheel the game comes with before purchasing another one. I just steer using my controller as you would with a steering wheel.

As far as games go, this is one of my alltime favorites, Definately top 10 for me. And I'm comparing it to some pretty heavy competition like Starcraft, Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger.

Zelda was fantastic. Mario galaxy i haven't played yet but i heard it was just as good. Metroid Prime Corruption is amazing. Super Smash Borthers is awesome, and so is trauma center.

Alright, update. This is the family's Wii, and since my parents have enjoyed it so much, they helped buy some games.
Today we got Mario Kart + Extra Wheel, Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, and the Classic Controller.

Mario Galaxy is excellent, I prefer better than Zelda. Super Smash Brothers, Raymonds Ravin Rabbids and GHWT are also excellent. Ya probably need 1or 2 more remotes and numchuks as well as a charging station.
