Peroneal tendon surgery with fractured metatarsal....

Why would you have surgery on the tendon? Is it ruptured?

Rest it, let it heal (in a boot) and find what the cause is then focus on prevention if you don't already know.

MRI scheduled for next week to determine ligament damage. 5th metatarsal is a displaced fracture that will be reset or removed. Hopefully the ligament won't need any repair.

Had repair surgery about 7 years ago. Recovery is a biatch because you can’t move your foot or put any weight on it for (I think it was) 6 or 8 weeks. Hope the MRI is negative.
