Can I get a bay boat to the gulf at normal tide?
Is the launch open 24/7?

There or just launch at the Mermentau park and hit the gulf. Doesnt matter what the tide is....you are gonna make it.
Also park is open 24/7. Dont know about the refuge.

Josephs Harbor closes at dusk, if you are coming from Laffy Rollover or FWC would be closer but the ramp behind the Library is way closer to the gulf and an easy out.
Make sure you have the bolts tightened on your trailer if using FWC launch

Thanks! Im wanting to hit the artificial reefs directly south of rollover. Bay boat so less distance in the gulf the better. I had heard conflicting info about water depth in the canal heading south.

Rollover landing is open at sunrise, no issues getting a bay boat to the gulf. If you try to get into flat lake from the gulf, then be careful.

Rollover launch was notorious for being too short and getting single axle trailers stuck in the drop off. Did they fix that. Not sure how a big double axle would fare having to go in deeper.
