Monroe Moccasins are back

MONROE, LA / ACCESSWIRE / June 5, 2024 / Perkin Hockey Group today announced the formation of the Monroe Moccasins, a professional hockey team in The Federal Prospects Hockey League ("FPHL"). The team was announced at a Press Conference today with Team Chairman and CEO, Nicolas Perkin, alongside Mayor Friday Ellis of Monroe, Louisiana and FPHL Commissioner Don Kirnan. The Monroe Civic Center will be the team's home ice arena for the upcoming 2024/25 FPHL Season, with the Moccasin's home season opener tentatively scheduled for Friday, October 11th, 2024.

Welp...Seems like they didn't learn from their prior mistakes. You're going to debut on a Friday during district? Football is king and they will be severely punished for choosing this date. Better make it a Tuesday.

I've only been to Monroe like once in my life and will probably never see this team play but I would buy that jersey
