Milton (Ga.) four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley took his first official visit to Auburn on the weekend of April 6. He is resuming his officials this week.

Wiley’s upcoming official visits will be to USC (May 31-June 2), Georgia (June 7-9), LSU (June 14-16) and Florida State (June 21-23). The five aforementioned schools are currently in the mix to land the 6-foot-4, 210-pound wideout.

thx for sharing brother. Sadly, Legacies are pretty much meaningless these days. The current generation of CFB recruits are shopping for the biggest $$ bag and all believe they will be 1st Rd. draft picks in 3 years. LSU is basically a hat on the table b/c his dad played here. I'm hoping Wiley's upcoming LSU visit changes his mind towards the good guys. A visit during the Ole Miss or ALA home game could definitely help persuade his choice.

Usually i would have called you negative, but seeing Carr go to Notre Dame over Michigan, Arch go to Texas (instead of Tennessee or Ole Miss), Raiola only go to Nebraska for money and an immediate starting spot, among many, many more, i just don't have any faith in legacies anymore.

However, im over OOS WRs. We were spurned by every elite one last year and looks to be the case again this year. Seems more like a waste of time than anything else because we have tons of elite prospects like them in our own backyard. WRU was built on Louisiana WRs anyway. Every now and again we'll get a good one OOS, but i dont remember getting one in the last 15 years (and by good, i mean good at LSU).

He commits today at 3pm. Not hearing anyone talk about his commitment at all is safe to say it isn't Tigers?

Milton, GA (Wiley's hometown) -----> Athens (UGA) is 70 miles.
similar geographical analogy as LSU recruiting the NOLA area.

I still believe we’ll end up with some really good receivers in this class. Having the top QB committed and our track record of putting WR’s into the league has to be attractive to just about anyone.

Sure he got paid(like any top recruit), but his dad and uncle played at Nebraska with his uncle being the current Husker O-line coach.

Sure hope you're right. We need to perpetuate WRU...
