I’ll be in Milwaukee for work in a few weeks. I’ll have a day and half of free time. Never been to that area. Looking for things to do during the day and a place to eat one night.

Thanks

Aside from being in the immediate downtown area, Bay View, Lower East Side, Third Ward, and Walker's Point are all neighborhoods worth checking out. The Brewery District is quickly growing, too.

If you're in Bay View, would recommend grabbing a sausage at Vanguard and getting a couple drinks at Burnhearts. Public Market in Third Ward is fun to walk through and you can stroll down to Odd Duck in Walker's Point. Lower East Side is chalked with bars - Wolski's is famous and Pete's Pub makes great pub food. If you'd prefer to just stick downtown for food, do Swingin' Door or Mader's.

Milwaukee is one of the best bar/tavern cities in the country. They take dives to the next level.

Are the Brewers in town? That’s a fun stadium.
