Check-in. 6 years in and have a long way to go. Last year had it on Memorial Day which really sucked.

My kid is the only one not participating and crying on stage. Good times

Man track meets were the worst as a parent. 4-5 hours to watch your kid run for 2 minutes

I LOVE track meets! My son starts track next week, I hope likes it.

No dance recitals.

But I saw a friend's niece in a video yesterday! It was great!!

I’ve noticed a lot of them going on lately at the park in New Iberia.

I did them for years and my daughter is a slow white girl. She was so so at long distance I guess.

I'd never admit it to her, but I was sort of happy when she quit

Ex wife was a dance instructor and ex step kids did competition team. I would get dragged to at least 5 competitions a year and a dance recital.
Arghh.

Grew up with a ballet sister. Drug her all over in H.S. to different classes. Lake Chuck to Alec. Been watching since I was 12 or so. He'll I could choreograph flicking Nutcracker.

Dance recitals are like watching paint dry, then having to scrape it off.
