gas prices have been at this level multiple times in the las 10yrs and we have never seen food prices this high. at first it was supply chain issues that raised food prices, that got worked out and now the blame is the price of gas. We are being gouged at the grocery store for record profits from these companies. An executive order might be a bad idea but sitting around and doing nothing about it is also a really bad idea.

I'm with you and have been increasingly skeptical since the eggs price fluctuations in 2022. Downvote away.
Is gas up? Yes. Are supply chains arse? Probably (even four years later). But somehow, big food is posting record profits anyways. So what gives??
