I don’t think so but,….he probably thought he would be able to get to Georgia straight away after getting the job. CJJ got him to finish the season out.

You have to know he wanted to get to his first HC job instead of finishing out at LSU.

Probably a sore spot with him.

Dumb take. All coaches finish out the season with their teams when taking another position plus he got a ring out of staying

He ran out on the Twins mid season to join LSU. Would’ve been an awful look for him if he quit on LSU in a title run to go to Georgia to start recruiting in their offseason too

I don't know about that.

Pretty good recruiting tool to be winning in Omaha with pitchers like Skenes, Floyd, Guidry, and even Ack dealing.
