by the time I was finished cooking everything I was using was cleaned up and put back up. The wife does not operate that way either.

MPt, same. Other than the final apparatus; bowl, pan, etc. That gets cleaned with the dishes and glasses once leftovers are put into containers and into the fridge. I'm also a stickler for the countertops. I use a clean and polish nightly (even on nights I don't cook). It probably doesn't make a difference but in my mind granite is porous so the polish helps protect it when I do happen to spill a drink or accidentally splatter and acidic sauce. I also like the shine on it and the slick feeling almost like a freshly waxed car.

QC, there is stress and then there is unnecessary stress and people who lash out to cope. If someone is self aware then a good 'sorry' is to bare their chest to the one offended, or something like that. I don't know I thought about it and forgot what I was complaining about.

I think I probably have unnecessary stress too, but I don’t generally lash out. I guess that’s the secret to having friends.

It's either that or the pst. Maybe a little of both.

Stealing a shtick from Skilly isn't a common tactic of mine, but it played directly into my "bare their chest" line so I rolled with it. I'll give Skilly the credit and MPDPH the assist for driving my mind the short distance to the gutter.

I like skil. I think deep down under the bs here he’s probably a pretty good guy.

Don’t tell him I said that.
