Anyone have this updated lever gun?
Comments/Review?
Considering as an alternative to a Marlin 336 (which is hard to find and more expensive)

Heard good things however I do think it’s funny that people were mad at Marlin 336 because the finish was not as good as in the past, then marlin gets a rebrand, starts putting out a higher quality gun and people all of a sudden want a cheaper option.
No hate though. I love lever guns and this one is getting some good reviews.

I’m happy with mine. Good for the money. Works as expected, as long as I clean it on occasion.

Are they hard to find though? Gunbroker usually has many of them for sale at all times.
Not sure what you consider expensive, you're surely not getting on for 1980's or 90' prices but that's the same for all guns. Conditions considered you should have not trouble getting a 336 30-30 for $500-$800 from GB.
