Minimum age is 20 and you can start an apprenticeship at 16 and schooling goes towards the minimum hours required. So it is entirely possible for a 20 - 21 year old to be a licensed residential electrician.

BRCC has this H.S. dual enrollment program. The interns have been hired directly from graduation.
