Yeah it focused on Marty and Docs kids. They still had the DeLorean and Doc had the train.

Don't forget James Bond Jr.
For a Cartoon though - Beetlejuice was legit. That was straight avant garde entertainment and it was well done. The use of things like EA Poe were actually way ahead of it's time. It was a lot like a dark Animaniacs essentially with all of the constant references to literature, film and art. Great stuff.
Probably warped my brain though and is why I binged horror movies for a long time.

Remember how there were two different Ghostbusters cartoons at one time?
"The Real Ghostbusters" was the one based on the movie. The other one just called "Ghostbusters" was unrelated as far as I remember.
The ‘80s had “The Real Ghostbusters” and the ‘90s had “Extreme Ghostbusters”.
“Extreme” was a continuation of “Real” that was centered around Egon and some students at one of the local colleges in NYC. I believe Egon was a professor there and he starts the business back up.
ETA: I think the ‘70s cartoon was the IP Sony/Columbia had to buy the rights from to use “Ghostbusters”.
