Doesn't really matter. The Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is the real ruler of the country. Their government carries out his commands. Doesn't matter who their president is.

This is why nothing will really change with the death of Raisi, you cannot make real change until the head of the snake is chopped off.

covid took out a huge chunk of the ruling party
many of the "old guard"

this guy was to replace the 85 year old ruler,

if nothing else this causes a COG nightmare

"We can get you" is always a strong message. But if it was Israel I'm not quite following their game yet. It seems to me that letting them wonder and letting their imaginations run wild with inside job suspicions is better than claiming it. Of course if they didn't do it, claiming it is a whole different ballgame. What was the Egyptian group that kept claiming credit for industrial accidents like. Bhopal, India and others? That's actually a great business model for terrorism. Wait for shite to happen and claim you did it.
