I said the money is being kept in KY. Basically mean LA has sent them money for years for KY and CD only. Again, look at the additions before Derby City here was opened. If you're good watching and wagering on sore 5k claimers that should be at Will Rogers or Fonner , more power to you. There's a reason why the FG oaks isn't a G1. The stakes committee even believes the meet is a 2nd tier. More horses per start are running at Turfway more than any track in the winter. I wager on quality horses, and big pools. FG doesn't have both. Just be patient. Wait and see in the next few years the field sizes at TP, compared to FG. Let's compare the two condition books when they come out later this year, and then we can have a friendly debate about which meet is better. The racing secretary at FG should be running the show, but unfortunately, CD put in some slot machine repairman from EVG that is in over his head. Robbie Alborado basically got him that job. The backside needs to be bulldozed completely. A hurricane is the only way it'll get "rebuilt"

The Oaks not being a Grade 1 is a farce. The committee needs to get there head out there arse.

Yes Turfway has fuller fields That don’t mean it’s a better quality meet. Last time I checked Turfway runs 5k claimers too. FG is a better quality meet and there’s no comparison. Purses at FG will get better in due time.

Don’t know why you want the backside bulldozed it’s an old track with old concrete barns. Those barns are perfect for the winter time but definitely not the summer time.
