He changed agents because Bredar pissed off Cox for one reason or another. Had to do with a mount or two for the breeders cup. Plus Doug is the modern day Floyd the Barber. A total weirdo.

Yeah but it’s the best it’s been in the last 5-10 years for sure. I was in the clubhouse for the derby and the food was actually decent. Also the steaks at the spotted horse are very good and the women that work there are such sweethearts.

I dont know the reason he changed agents and you might be right but im telling you he might change again before FG rolls around again. He was not happy last year at FG he knows he can get on more winners if he changes.

They sold 5000 shares at $127 per share to purchase Seize the Gray. So they raised $635K.. They bought Seize the Gray for 300K. So the people behind MRH didnt put up a dime to purchase the horse yet they are getting most of the money earned by the horse.
MRH uses your money to buy horses and you dont get hardly anything when it makes money

Geroux better tighten up at CD. The way he rode Appleby's horse last Saturday's feature, he deserves to go back to Hawthorne. That was awful. I'm not sure about him switching agents though. On a side note, I know that Turfway will get a nice boost in purses again, and trainers love working horses over the Tapeta. Plus, CD doesn't care about FG. What did that tell you when they bought TP? Same owners, running pretty much the same schedule. Money is being kept in KY, not distributing to LA, especially to those rat state bred races, which is mandatory in the condition book. Maker, and Wesley Ward stayed home for the winter. Yes I know they ran in Florida, but both traveled back and forth while keeping their base in KY.

Let me educate you a little. The purses for FG dont come from Kentucky homie. The come from the handle at FG, the slot machines at FG, sports wagering in Louisiana, and fixing to come thru historical gaming machines as soon as the lawsuit against them is final.
And yes Louisiana did it right by putting into law 3 state bred races per day have to be run at every track in LA. Rat races or not the money does stay with the trainers and owners of LA bred horses.
And to top it all off CD cant sell FG and end horse racing there. They cant demolish the barns and grandstand to make it commercial property. Only thing they can do is sell to someone else who will continue to run horse racing at FG. But CD wont sell it because they sitting on a cash cow with the slot machines at FG
