I know, but it’s a formula that works. He is a nobody, but now people are listening to him and know his name. Then when it amounts to nothing he gets to keep some of that residual fame. The best recent example was Adam Schiff. He sat up there for a year on all the radical left networks - CNN, MSNBC, NPR - saying he had seen the evidence against Trump and it was overwhelming. Now that it has all deflated, Schiff is still a dude on the left.
