School choice is good. School vouchers sound good until you consider the strings attached. I don’t want the government to have any say in the curriculum, standards, or policies of a private school or home school. With money comes control. It may start out free, but the threat of strings will always be there.
Also, with money comes increasing prices. So the tuition for these schools will increase, which in turn makes both schools and parents dependent on this money. That’s part of the problem with our university system.
