My wife works at LBJ Hospital here in Houston and they are building a massive new building. Parking is already horrendous for employees so they created an overflow parking lot last year.
the hospital decided to use this overflow parking lot for all of the bullshite festivities and executive showmanship to christen this new building with their chrome shovels, hardhats, and business suits
They told employees to park in the adjoining street that day.
As it were, the City of Houston DGAF and came by and towed 12 cars. People were running out like madmen to move their cars into the patient parking lot once they found out cars were getting towed.
Was a total cluster frick to get everybody’s car back
City hospitals doing City things. And no, you did not hear about it on the news because they did a fantastic job of media damage control, but it is all over Facebook (for us old fogies to laugh about).
