I can't imagine a worse match up than G Tech's offense versus our defense.

It is a nightmare scenario.

Our defense gets confused and blows assignments against standard, run of the mill offenses.

This G Tech offense is crazy.

I feel sorry for the camera men working the G Tech games trying to figure out where the ball is going.

Yeah, but you can predict 80% of the time which play they will call.

Could not possibly disagree more. They don't throw. This is the best matchup we could have ever gotten.

That's right. You need to give up now. Just go ahead and have Les mail it in and we'll just have a nice little scrimmage in the Chicken Bowl. After all, our starting backfield is averaging the following:

B-back (FB) Jonathan Dwyer - 7.0 ypc
A-back (WB) Roddy Jones - 9.1 ypc
A-back (WB) Lucas Cox - 8.2 ypc
QB Josh Nesbitt - 4.0 ypc

Resistance is futile.

You're crazy. Have you seen the stats this year on LSU's ypa allowed against the pass? Give thanks that we are playing Georgia Tech rather than a Big XII team.

actually, that's about the best matchup of the mid-tier bowl games that we could have hoped for....

playing texas tech would have been an absolute nightmare for us....a deep passing team versus our inept coverage of the long ball....

Maybe you should just pull for GT

Somehow, Gardner-Webb held GT to a whopping 79 yds rushing (47 attempts!) and 120 passing, only 9 first downs, and outgained them 227-199 Losing to GT by only 10-7. How difficult can it be?

Seriously, I'd like to see film of that game.

try texas techs o. slinging it all over the field on us. they are a threat to score 70 on us. tech at least runs it so they should only score 40 or so

As long as our DB's don't jump off after 8 seconds of riding and give up maybe we can stop them.
