Yes he went to jail this morning in the squad car. He'll likely be released and have a police escort back just to make his tee time in time. Watch

Even if that happens, his routine is way off and he’ll likely have very little warmup time. The saving grace may be a heavier band of rain is projected to move in around 10 and may make the course unplayable.

So, LMPD is going to have to settle another lawsuit that will cost me my tax dollars because of their incompetence.

AND it’s going to likely cost us an event that brings millions to the economy?

They truly are the most embarrassing law enforcement agency in the country.

According to the police he tried to run over the cop which is obviously bullshite but cooler heads did not prevail

Officer bet his pension on Xander, and wasn't about to let Scottie take that away from him 3months to retirement

He won't have his caddie tomorrow assuming he makes the cut or isn't withdrawn

PGA wasn't going back to Louisville for a while anyway, so no there isn't really a potential lost.

Why would there be a lawsuit? They detained him for not following orders during a vehicular accident that resulted in death.

LMPD sucks but a dumb golfer being dumb is not why.

They’ve had to settle over $40 million in lawsuits in the last few years because of a whole host of issues.

They got hit with a bunch of civil rights violations (and not just what you’d think, it was bad across the board) by the DOJ in 2023.

Part of me hopes this is just nationally embarrassing enough that heads might actually start to roll.

So some dipshit traffic cop thinks he’s the main character and his IQ is too low to use any discretion given the situation.

The PGA needs this situation resolved immediately. They need to make a call to the Governor of Kentucky if that’s what it takes.

My understanding locally is that they had let other golfers and caddies through where the accident was on Shelbyville Road (it’s been shut down since 5:00 am due to a pedestrian being hit by one of the shuttle buses). And Scheffler was following that established protocol and the officer fricked up because he didn’t recognize Scheffler or the car.

Fat black cop thinks he's going to stick it to whitey, hope Louisville gets sued into oblivion by the PGA. PGA shouldn't start the tournament back up until this gets resolved.

And having seen a few around town the last couple of days, they’re not hard to identify. They usually have a label on the side or it’s marked on the license plate. It would take an officer working the event all of 2 second to check that shite.
