I guess I don't see the point of injecting politics into everything. Neither Springsteen or Seger's songs are particularly political. FWIW, Seger was a fan of Bernie and Hillary in 2016.
It's a question about artistic merit and politics doesn't have to be a part of everything. Sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the music without injecting political feelings.

Born in the USA is 100% political, wtf are you talking about?
I feel like the Springsteen fans are being disingenuous. The guy is a douche nozzle and most of his music fricking sucks. And yes he so badly tries to sing like Bob its fricking terrible, that part throws me off more than his politics.
Ill give an example, i dont mind the music the beat or the lyrics on this its just, what is he doing with his vocals?
i mean im cracking up at "bandlands yew guh a liv a erday"
