In their eyes, it's still a better outcome than ACTING WHITE. I understand this story. Knew of a similar situation but not near the potential player. But still everyone did all they could to better this kid's life. He kept it real once he graduated from HS and is now in the Pen doing time for armed robbery. All it takes is one old friend or brother to make fun of them and they'll do anything they can to prove they're not white.

Which is the problem with AA moving out of the hood and bettering their lives by moving to suburbia with good jobs. They're great people and parents, but watch out for their kids because they have everything to prove that they're hard and from the street, even though they've only known the middle class.

Normal people think 12 yrs old is too young to be out at midnight burgling cars and smoking cush and drinking lean. But anyone who knows the street can tell you that usually at 12, they've already had a few years experience at it.
