Blue runner + trinity + good smoked sausage is very hard to beat. Not sure why anyone would make em from scratch with that option.

I like the process of it and I also get rid of scrap smoked pork by cooking from scratch.

You have to be joking. BR is so bland, the only thing I would use that for is it I made red beans and they were too salty or I needed to stretch a batch.

That method is fine if you’re feeling super lazy but nothing beats making them from scratch. It’s not like making them from scratch is hard

And no, it is not hard to beat at all. Is it good in a pinch? Sure. It's not anywhere near as good as homemade unless the cook doesn't know what he's doing.
