The person who made it inside of the church was a sophomore at the school and was armed with an AR-15 with a fully loaded magazine. When he made entry through the front of the church, a woman who is part of the school, confronted him, which disrupted his plan and he ran outdoors. Three men who were coming in with their children, apprehended him. A VC senior, who went along with the sophomore, fled the scene in a vehicle and was apprehended a short time later. These are the facts.
But honestly it sounds like pure luck. The kid could have mowed down the lady and those men with ease and continued on. He just luckily wasn’t committed

He walked into the church and went directly into one of the cry rooms in the back. I think he was going to prep in there and then come out, but the church was standing room only and there was a woman with her 2 kids in the cry room. I think it threw him off. He only stayed in there like 10 seconds and then walked out of the church. Someone locked the doors behind him when he left.
