Austin is the worst major public golf scene in the country and it’s not even close. No other top 25 city has this few of options. And clay / kizer are now closed for the summer

You should try going to Atlanta.
Truly terrible public golf. Austin’s normally not bad, but right now it’s in as bad of shape as ever with 3 of the main public courses in disastrous shape.
