re: Do any retirees “miss” work?

I interacted with the public my entire career. By the end, as I aged, I came to detest the public and people in general. The day I retired was one of the best days of my life. I’ve never regretted retiring for a second. Maybe I was always anti social. But I now spend my days doing things I like. I do not have the I need to travel bug. Take care of my property, help take care and spend time with my grandkids. Mind my own business and stay away from people. Best life ever.
