The quote completely ignores the fact that the allies defeated the Germans to end the holocaust and practically gave the Jews Isreal in 1948, weapons and defence technology.
It ignores the foreign aid given to Isreal year after year and the buy outs to surrounding countries.
I support American intrests first. If you're goal is Zionism move to Isreal.

That's a reasonable position, in my opinion. However, it seems to me that the majority of the American people disagree with that. They want the USA to support Israel and let Israel do whatever Israel thinks it needs to do to survive AND the majority of the American people want the USA to help Israel do this with no strings attached.
That seems to be the majority view to me.
For those who think that the USA should have "strings attached" or constraints applied to Israeli warfighting in exchange for US military assistance, I would like to know more about the nature of these "strings attached".
I can't seem to get any discussion going on these questions. What is the majority view here in the USA? Why do people hold that view?
If the US should provide military assistance - Whether there should be strings attached to US military assistance?
Or should we just write Israel a blank check and say: we don't care how you do it - here are your bombs - use them in any manner that you see fit. We don't want to know about it.
I can't seem to get people around here talking about these questions.
And then there's the question of the USA taking in these Palestinians as new US immigrants and future voting US citizens. Israel would love for that to happen. Most Americans seem to be against that, but, the American people are powerless to stop that from happening if the USA decides to help Israel in that manner.
