It’s astonishing people think this diversion is going to create an enormous coastline. It’s hardly going to build anything of consequence when there are far more effective methods anyway.

When we put the levees up we waived the white flag. Throw all the money you want at it — Mother Nature is undefeated.

It's so hard to find unemotional, informed people these days. Even on a forum of mostly grown "men"
