Hope he and you are right.
We need to actually win a trade and get players that can help us now

I think the last 4 games ingram played are conflating our opinion of him too much.

I mentioned this back around the trade deadline, but I’ve been on the trade BI train for a while now and have spent a lot of time trying to get a gauge of what other teams valuation of Ingram is. The answer seems to reflect exactly how this board feels about him in that it is polarizing. Apparently some FO around the league think very highly of Ingram while others don’t.
Around the trade deadline, the Dunc’d On pod made an off-hand comment in regards to trading BI for Myles Turner, and Nate mentioned BI is valued pretty highly by a few FOs. He specifically said BI value around the league was much higher than Turner’s.
Now, I’m not saying that is necessarily true anymore as trade value is an extremely fluid situation, based on recent play, contract situation, and the current market. A lot has changed since February and BI’s playoff dud obviously doesn’t help, but I think people are letting Ingram’s issues with fitting this team’s funky roster construction and clunky rotations, cloud their judgement of him as a player. Most GMs think more long term than that and do a better job of seeing the proverbial forest from the trees than we do
