Example: 8.5 months of pregnancy mother suffers from eclampsia, which can cause injury or death to mother and baby. Doctor decides to induce birth (termination of pregnancy). The goal is to preserve the life and health of both patients, mother and baby. The alternative is continuing the pregnancy and possibly losing both mom and baby. Inducing birth protects both of them.

Which option is more pro-life?
