I have never heard anywhere in Louisiana called Arlington, and I’ve been hearing for over 45 years and talking almost as long. This is a real estate stunt, on a larger scale than when the four remodeled buildings in downtown Bossier started calling themselves The East Bank to get away from the Boardwalk, which probably not a bad idea. But what is Arlington trying to get away from?

Also, Dickey’s is a national chain BBQ place. That information tells you everything.

National Chain.
Chain BBQ.

Can’t be terrible, but won’t be great.

I’ve been there twice, first time was really good, second time was the worst bbq I’ve ever eaten. Not very consistent.

I'd be much much happier with a Rudy's

They'd print money in BR with our lack of decent BBQ options.

I've had good food there and other times not so much. I find that they don't typically hold their franchisees to high standards. Haven't been in a while. In Metairie I will typically goes to Moe's BBQ when I want BBQ.
