Inadvertent Whistle despite ref signaling Double dribble

A new officiating low. Even though he didn’t double dribble. Whistle blown signal given so not inadvertent. How Carlisle kept any composure is beyond me

Carlisle is clueless!!! Make an adjustment, do something different.

Maybe the list of plays being sent in is distracting from the teams focus but this one play alone with the officials is absolutely Inexcusable. They could have cut it to three and If the ref just blew a whistle then whatever. But he blew it, signaled double dribble. Then they said inadvertent. This was just a stunning move.

Hard for me to get mad at the refs making a good common sense decision
He clearly didn’t double dribble. So taking the ball from the Knicks would have been the worst thing they could have done

This. I was amazed the refs discussed it and reversed the call, they should do that more often when one of them gets something wrong.
