I get why people buy practical cars just like I understand why people buy expensive vehicles. Some in these threads act like they can’t understand why people like different things.

No issue if they can afford it. But a lot cant and then complain about the price of things.
Very wealthy people dont face the same tradeoffs middle class folks do. It aint the wealthy with eyes bigger than their wallet.
My first choice yesterday was a Jeep Wrangler. About the same price as the vehicle I bought, but maintenance costs would eat me alive, it had higher mileage. I can afford the car, but the upkeep made me balk.
Paid the same for more vehicle, less maintenance and a strong warranty. Always wanted a wrangler, but practicality overrules vanity.
