It was really neat. I love being able to hear first hand accounts of history from people.
I’ve only met a few people/patients who are from Europe and had experiences related to WWII. One was a german civilian who was a teenager during the war and spoke of how atrocious the Nazi regime was to his family bc they were not in alignment with the nazi philosophy.

It’s very dangerous when the party in power scapegoats a race of people as being responsible for all of society’s woes.
