Players are hitting outside shots. No idea why driving paint late qtr with open looks. Then blocks turn into fast breaks.

Several times tonight I felt our coach is making bad decisions. And yes, we lead. But game should be over. 4 times had lead over 10 and now again its down to 7.

Almost opposite of last game but Mavs have experience and can use it

Cason Wallace is 1-7 and yet keeps shooting! Why is the rookie even in game? Mark has done a horrible job coaching tonight. We have players he could use. And this stems from him leaving Dort in 3rd qtr with 40 secs and 4 fouls and he got 5th.

Starting to have concerns Mark turns into Scotty Brooks. Good coach but could not get over the hump. Mark is much better but tonight has been a bad coaching job imo.

No one is leaving anything on the bench either team. If OKC loses they can look in mirror and realize how many times in 2nd half they made bad choices. Can’t let an experienced team back in time after time.

That’ll do it. Mavs won’t get past Denver is my guess. Quote the game but OKC blew it in many ways. Credit to Mavs for not giving up down so many times. Vet experience paid off. Was a fun season not its up to Presti to find another starter.

It took Luka choking the last possession away and getting lucky the ball squirted to a Mavs player and then SGA getting all ball prior to shot and called for foul anyway. Thats how you won at the end.

Luka will whine his way thru another series and this time it won’t be rookies he plays. I hate the Mavs because of Luka and his constant whining and their fans who whine about refs all game long in every game. They take after Luka.

OKC blew this game prior to the ending. Thats on coach. Hope he learns from it or he’ll be like Scotty with talent and not able to win it all. I give him an overall pass as he’s done great and this is first ever playoffs for him and most of team.

I rooted for Mavs when they won their title. Your star was not a whiner he just flat out drug his team to the ring. Much different now with whiner Luka. I can’t root for them no matter who is left.

Outside of Dallas fans who live in a bubble - most other fans despise Mavs due to Luka whining and flopping.

Tidbit

Scoring for this series was 636-636. Mavs barely got by but next team will be more to deal with and has bigs.

Presti said time and time again that they needed to get THIS group to the playoffs and stress test them. Had to do that before you make decisions on the roster.

They’ve done their test, got their data, and now have $35M in cap space + 4 roster spots + 17 firsts to play with.

We’ll be back. Mavs have little capital to improve so once bounced they will be hard pressed in future years

Lol, Mavs fans melted every game about refs. And I canMt wait for the melt when they get bounced. Enjoy the win

I'm sure you said the same thing in 2010. The Thunder have one playoff series win in the past 8 years and it was against a team without its star player and injured 2nd best player.

The NBA is a fickle mistress when it comes to predicting a teams future.

When KD snaked out is the last time.

But future is bright. What were Luka’s stats?

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in these playoffs:

30.2 PPG
7.2 REB
6.4 AST
1.3 STL
1.7 BLK
49.6 FG%
43.2 3P%
79.0 FT%

Led the team in PTS, REB, AST, STL, BLK, FGM

Most blocks by a PG in a playoff run ever
