I quit over 20 years ago and it took me around a month and a half for cravings to go away. For around 2 years my hand would subconsciously be reaching in my shirt pocket for a cigarette though

Going on a year since I quit & I still occasionally catch myself doing this or after I eat at home I still sometimes look to the small table I kept them on after eating a meal

It is a really good feeling when I get to remind myself that I finally gave them up
