First off, I hate Starbucks coffee.
Second, it’s overpriced.
Third, they support liberal causes
Fourth, with inflation and the way the economy is now, people are more selective in how they spend any discretionary resources.

It’s simple, they used to be the only game in town and now the premium coffee market has taken off
Just in my area north of Dallas, I have a Dutch brothers and PJs that are less than a year old and within a block of Starbucks.
Now Tim Hortons is building all over the US as well as Dunkin expanding and there you go.
And I haven’t even mentioned the QT and Racetracks of the world with great coffee setups .
