I'd say don't plan out where you want to eat.
Just pick an area for lunch and dinner to do something else, walk around and just pick a place that looks interesting. There's so many places to eat in that city, just go find something on your own.

I dont even remember where we ate this one time but we were all aggravated after walking all day, were walking back to our hotel, stopped at some italian restaraunt, was about to leave b/c all they had was pretty much spaghetti on the menu and the kids were bitching about it, ate it anyway and every single one of us said that's the best spaghetti i've ever had.

Find a random hole in the wall for pizza or a reuban sandwich.



oh and don't let the morons dressed up in costumes make you take a picture in Times Square with them. They are goign to expect you to tip them.

I agree...after you get the Clam Chowder at the Grand Central Station Oyster Bar...if you listen to me...you will NOT be mad at me for this recommendation.

I will even go as far as saying it doesn't matter whether you get the New England or Manhattan Chowder...both are fantastic.

After that...do what Teddy said!
