Yeah, they completely miss the point of Christ's work on earth. He didn't come to bring in social justice reform but to fulfill the promises of God for salvation.

The liberals seem to be entirely focused on this life, seeing the greatest good being to provide social justice rather than to lead the poor and needy to Jesus by faith, for the salvation of their souls.

It certainly is good to seek justice and help those who are in need, but that isn't the primary goal of Christ's ministry, nor the ministry of Christians. Good works without Christ are dead works.
