Why I rented this I will never be able to reconcile.
This was the most mindless chick flick I have ever seen. They may as well have changed all of the female dialogue to "OMG OMG OMG!" and nothing about the movie would have changed.
Oh, and it's a musical too. That should have been a glaring red flag right away, but I wanted to balance out my rentals, the other of which was The Mummy 3, which also sucked. If anybody knows how it ends, let me know. No hurry, though, of course.
Don't be like blueboy. Don't be the guy who rented Mamma Mia. There is absolutely nothing to be gained by it.

sadly, i saw it at the theater. our first clue should have been that we were the youngest people there by 30+ years... I knew is was going to be a musical, but not that musical. I guess ABBA should have been a clue.

The fact that it's a musical escaped my notice. I didn't really watch the previews very closely and thought the music was just part of the trailer montage. It got really good reviews and I've seen just about everything else that's new.
One of there days, you'll make a mistake like this, and I'm going to be there. Until then, I'll be flogging myself in hopes that the gods of machismo forgive me.

I have no idea what that means, but you know what, pussyfaggots? "Man card" not surrendered. I went into it with an open mind (which apparently vented a lot of logic), but even though I thoruoghly regret it, I now know just a little bit more about women that you do.
Admittedly, that amounts to about 5-2 in a 4 quarter game of basketball, but it's still 5-2 in my favor. So suck it.
